The Children’s Center at the Family Courthouse in Poughkeepsie,
NY, provides a safe, fun, and caring place for children whose parents or
guardians are attending to court business. We care for children from the
ages of 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our program provides board and computer
games, arts & crafts projects, reading, snack, and much more. We also
provide referrals to services around the area like daycare, WIC,
Medicaid, literacy programs, counseling and support programs, and
further resources that may be useful to families.
