The Partnership Center is a catalyst to forge community partnerships through collaboration and advocacy in health and human services, cultural and educational opportunities to improve the lives of individuals and families.
What is the Partnership Center?
The Partnership Center houses approximately 18+ programs and services designed to meet the health, social, cultural, educational, training and recreational needs of our community.
Located in the former Poughkeepsie High School, which then became Our Lady of Lourdes in downtown Poughkeepsie, it is more than just a building. We are a partnership of agencies, organizations and the community, focused on providing resources to individuals and families in a spirit of cooperation and collaboration.
How Do We Work Together?
Since 2007, the Center Partners have identified four primary community issues: Housing, Health, Jobs and Youth. We will use our collective experience and expertise to incorporate the resources of the business community, local schools and colleges, civic and religious organizations and non-profit and government agencies to focus on these priorities.
